Past
My fascination with technology began long before I wrote my first line of code. From jailbreaking iPhones as a kid, I was always driven by a curiosity to understand how technology worked. This innate passion led me to Ball State University, where, alongside my commitment to playing collegiate football, I pursued and earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science. It was there that my informal hobby became a focused career path.
Present
Currently, I am working as a full-time Full Stack Web Developer. In this role, I get to engage with my passion every day, tackling challenges across the entire development spectrum. I’m responsible for bringing ideas to life by designing, building, and maintaining complete web applications—from crafting an intuitive user interface on the front-end to engineering the robust back-end solutions that power it.

For RL Carriers and partner brands, I architected on modernizing several enterprise websites, redesign and rebuild platforms with a focus on usability, performance, and long-term maintainability. This included the full rebuild of Drive ABCO, where I restructured the site and refreshed the visual design, as well as updates to Roberts Truck Sales that improved how inventory information is managed and presented. Built a custom employee dashboard used by thousands of drivers to view personalized quarterly bonus eligibility through an API connected to individual employee IDs.

Across various hospitality and enterprise sites, I delivered performance and reliability improvements including image optimization, console error debugging, and using lighthouse/HTML validator for website performance and SEO. Key work includes enhancing user experience for better cross-device interaction, hardening security fields on data-capture sites, and keeping WordPress cores and plugins up to date — all improving stability and user satisfaction.

I built advanced content management features that empowered non-technical editors to confidently manage complex data across multiple sites. This work included extensive use of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and the development of custom React-based plugins with intuitive, user-friendly inputs designed around real editorial workflows. I also implemented API connection testing with clear feedback states, helping editors quickly understand system status and resolve issues without developer involvement. In addition, I added automated post-status transitions for event content, reducing manual effort and improving content accuracy across the platform.

Across multiple web properties, I implemented dynamic, user-centric interfaces for complex form flows and interactive experiences. Highlights include a Vendor Application system for large event sites with custom fees, prepayment requirements, and smart, context-aware fields; a Media Accreditation workflow with dynamic event selection and automated email notifications. I also built an interactive job map for Drive ABCO, displaying open positions across the United States using a custom content system and a Google Maps API interface to make location-based browsing intuitive and engaging. I engineered a suite of custom WordPress plugins to replace third-party tools and centralize key site functionality across multiple properties. This included building a flexible announcements system supporting popups and banners, complete with scheduling, global settings, and per-instance controls, all integrated seamlessly with WordPress Full Site Editing (FSE). In parallel, I developed custom plugins for event management, featuring a centralized calendar with recurring events, integrated vendor application forms, and shared data sources to keep information consistent across sites.

Developed and maintained the World Equestrian Center’s digital portfolio, including 5+ affiliated luxury hotel and restaurant sites (e.g., The Equestrian Hotel, The Riding Academy Inn). By creating a unified and intuitive user journey between the main events portal and the various hospitality sites, this ecosystem directly supported key marketing initiatives, streamlined event promotion, and drove an increase in online hospitality bookings.

For Seeking The Glory of God Ministries, I developed a comprehensive and user-friendly website to serve as their central digital hub. The primary goal was to create an accessible platform for their global community to engage with daily devotionals, teachings, and prophetic words, with content hosted on and embedded from platforms like YouTube and Rumble. The site is structured to support their mission by featuring sections for ministry information, leadership bios, house churches, and events. A key feature is the integration of a donation system to facilitate financial support. Naturally Pressed Juice

I developed a full-featured e-commerce platform for a naturally pressed juice company using WordPress and WooCommerce. The core challenge was to implement a custom shipping logic that standard plugins couldn’t handle. I wrote custom PHP code to create a dynamic, distance-based delivery fee system. This function hooks into the WooCommerce checkout to calculate a unique rate for each customer by combining a base flat fee with a set dollar amount per mile. This solution showcases my ability to extend a platform’s core functionality to solve specific client needs and demonstrates my expertise in PHP, WordPress, and WooCommerce customization.

To help athletes find ideal training partners, I am currently developing PaceMates, a native iOS application built with Swift and SwiftUI. The app addresses a common challenge where athletes struggle to find others who match their specific performance level for sports like running, cycling, and swimming. PaceMates securely integrates with the Strava API to access a user’s activity data. It then utilizes a custom matching algorithm to analyze their paces and connect them with other local users who train at a similar level. The goal is to create a community-focused platform that empowers athletes to train together, stay motivated, and improve their performance. This project demonstrates my skills in native iOS development, third-party API integration, and creating a user-centric solution to a real-world problem.
